Description

Site work for a transportation facility in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a runway / taxiway.

The project involves the construction of a new parking lot and the rehabilitation of an overflow parking lot. Bids must be prepared and submitted using the specified forms following the instructions in the Instructions to Bidders and General Provisions (Section 20) of the Project Manual. Each bidder is required to submit a bid security equal to at least 10% of the Base Bid. Bid security must be in the form and subject to the conditions outlined in Section 20 of the General Provisions. No bid may be withdrawn for 120 days after the bid opening. Successful bidders must enter an agreement and provide a contract bond and proof of required insurance within fifteen days of notification of proposal acceptance, in accordance with the Contract Documents. Wages paid must comply with those predetermined by the US Secretary of Labor and Industry as included in the specifications and contract documents. All work must adhere to the regulations found in Division 8 of the Project Manual.
