Description

Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the addition of a 85,045-square-foot municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Questions Due Date: Sep 8th 2026, 5:00 PM EDT It is the intent of the City of Johnstown that the Work will be awarded under separate prime contracts, consisting of General, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Construction Contracts. All questions must be submitted through the online. The work generally consists of an elevator building addition with associated site work, alternates for additional interior and exterior improvements, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing replacement. This is a Pennsylvania State Prevailing Wage Rate project and current rates are included in the Project Manual. A Bid Bond is required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposed Contract Sum. Payment and Performance Bonds are required of the successful Bidder, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. The project is subject to the Build America Buy America Act (BABA) and RACP funding requirements. The project is subject to the Pennsylvania Office of the Budget Domestic Steel Products Procurement Act. The City of Johnstown reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, or any part of a Bid, and to award the Bid in the best interest of the City of Johnstown.
