Lower Yoder Township is requesting sealed bids for the construction of the Municipal Parking Lot Reconstruction 2026 Project. The project includes conducting PA One Call to locate underground utilities, excavation and preparation of the existing parking lot to proper depth, grade, and slope, placement and compaction of 4 inches of 2A limestone, placement and compaction of 2 1/2 inches of PennDOT 25mm asphalt base, placement and compaction of 1 1/2 inches of PennDOT 9.5mm asphalt wearing course, installation of crack sealant between the new asphalt lot and existing roadway, and hauling away and disposing of unused or excavated materials. The project area totals 1,305 square yards of demolition/removal and 1,061 square yards of new asphalt paving. All work must comply with PennDOT specifications. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. All bidders must be fully insured and bonded. Proof of insurance and a 10% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract. Bid documents and specifications may be obtained at the Township office during normal business hours. Lower Yoder Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
