Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control & Abatement Services The City of Johnstown is seeking qualified contractors to perform lead-based paint hazard control and abatement services for residential properties within the City of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Work may be performed in child occupied residential dwelling units, as well as non-child occupied residential units, and must be conducted in accordance with applicable safety standards. All work must comply with regulations and guidelines of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Required Certifications and Licenses (as applicable): EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm (Renovation, Repair and Painting - RRP Rule) Pennsylvania Lead Abatement Contractor license Pennsylvania Lead Abatement Supervisor certification Pennsylvania Lead Abatement Worker certification Contractors must ensure that all personnel assigned to projects hold current and valid certifications appropriate to their role and that all work is performed under properly licensed supervision.
