Installation of athletic turf on three football fields at various locations in Jones County, Mississippi. Potential bidders are invited to submit a sealed offer for the construction. Bid security is required in the form of a Bid Bond or certified check for no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. Offers must be submitted on the provided Bid Form, and may be supplemented as appropriate. Bids may be mailed, hand-delivered, or electronically submitted. Mailed or hand-delivered bids must be in a sealed envelope marked with the project name, received at the owner's address by the stated deadline, and must not be sent to the project or architect's address. The owner is not responsible for misdirected or late bids. Electronic bids must be submitted via the architect's plan room website, with a title page clearly indicating the required information and matching the sealed envelope requirements. Bids exceeding $50,000 must display the contractor's Mississippi certificate of responsibility number and proof of Mississippi license. Non-resident contractors must include their state's law regarding treatment of non-resident contractors or provide a statement if no such law exists.
