Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ballwin, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Proposed construction for the Project will consist generally of: the removal of the existing asphalt overlay, removal of selected concrete pavement, sawing existing pavement where indicated, forming, placement, and finishing the 6" or 7" thick non reinforced air entrained Portland cement concrete sections on a new four (4) inch aggregate base at the specified locations throughout the City ofBallwin, sidewalk replacement and construction of ADA curb ramps. Joints shall be constructed and sealed per St. Louis County Standard Specification for Highway Construction, matching the existing locations in the City of Ballwin (the "Work"). The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the scope ofwork at any time. See Specifications attached hereto. If Alternates are proposed, the Alternates must be itemized separately from the Base Bid. A notice to proceed is expected to be issued effective May 1st, 2026. No work shall begin on subsequent phases with more than 80 cubic yards of concrete to be placed without prior approval of the Director of Public Works. Bids must be addressed to the Ballwin Public Works Department and clearly marked. All work shall be performed according to City specifications. All workers must be paid not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages as determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of Missouri. The successful bidder must affirm enrollment in a federal work authorization program and provide safety training for on-site employees as required by state law. All work must be constructed and completed in accordance with the project specifications. The Contractor is responsible for paying all material suppliers and required taxes. Alternate proposals must be itemized separately from the Base Bid.
