Sealed proposals are being requested for the replacement of existing roofing at Nevada High School/Elementary School in Rosston, Arkansas. Bids should be delivered by the specified time in a clearly identified sealed, opaque envelope to the offices of CADM Architecture, Inc., either physically, by fax, or by email. A five percent (5%) corporate Bid Bond or a certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany all submitted bids on construction contracts exceeding $20,000. Bidders are required to comply with all requirements of the Contractors Licensing Laws of the State of Arkansas. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond, equal to the contract amount, issued by a surety approved by the Owner and authorized to do business in the State of Arkansas. The Owner encourages bids from small, minority, and women business enterprises. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. Proposals not complying fully with any provision of the Plans, Specifications, and other Contract Documents will be considered invalid and not receive consideration. Only one proposal for the entire project is to be submitted. Bids must be submitted on the form provided by the Architect and delivered to the location specified, physically, by fax, or by email. Emailed bids must include an image of the required Bid Bond and be received in the Office of the Architect by the specified time. Documents will not be released until payment is received. The amount paid will be refunded to the Prime Bidder, subject to the following conditions: Documents are requested no less than seven (7) calendar days from the scheduled Bid Dale. Prime Bidder submits a complete, responsive bid on Bid Dale. Documents are returned in good condition to the Architect within ten (10) calendar days of receipt of notification of construction contract award by the Architect.
