This project consists of the application of Reclamite, or an approved equal product, pavement rejuvenator throughout the Borough of Mt. Oliver. The application will cover approximately 18,500 square yards of rejuvenator as required. The project also includes all required traffic controls, resident notification, and cleanup after completion. The contract may be awarded for up to four years, with unit costs provided for the initial year and separate costs for up to three one-year renewal periods expressed as flat percentage markups on the initial year’s unit costs. All proposals must be submitted electronically. Bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified for specified Work Class Codes and provide evidence of compliance. Required bonds and insurance certificates must be filed with the executed agreement. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder’s bond equal to ten percent of the total proposal as a guarantee. The Borough may award the contract to the lowest responsive, qualified, and responsible bidder for all or any portion of the work, or reject any or all bids or waive any informalities.
