Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are invited for the following: 48,318 square yards milling of bituminous pavement; 1,450 tons Superpave scratch and leveling course, 9.5mm, in place; 4,349 tons Superpave wearing course, 9.5mm, in place; 12,550 linear feet 4" single white traffic line paint (Aggie St and Donna St); and 6,275 linear feet 4" double yellow traffic line paint (Aggie St and Donna St). Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Municipality. A certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality, is required for third class cities, or as determined by other municipal types. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract must be provided by the successful bidder within 20 days after award. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $975.00 per calendar day. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies if the bid amount exceeds $100,000.00.
