The Village of Bloomington is accepting sealed bids for mowing, trimming, and maintenance services at the Bloomington Cemetery on 4th Street, Bloomington, Wisconsin for the 2026 season. Services required include mowing and trimming all grass areas within the cemetery boundaries, trimming around all headstones, trees, fences, and structures every other week, clearing grass clippings from headstones, walkways, and drives, maintaining the cemetery in a neat condition at all times (with services performed weekly or as needed), and ensuring mandatory mowing completion before Memorial Day and Labor Day. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Cemetery Lawn Services Bid” and include a per-mow price or total seasonal contract price, a list of equipment to be used, a list of staff who will perform the work, proof of liability insurance and workers’ compensation insurance, and references for previous commercial or municipal mowing work. The Village of Bloomington reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and select the bidder that best serves the public interest.
