Sealed proposals are requested for the furnishing of installation of a hot water main on Shiawassee Ave. from Grand to Capitol and Washington Sq. North of Shiawassee. Proposals must be in full accordance with the Scope of Work. Proposals must be submitted through IonWave; proposals received by email will not be accepted. The Board of Water and Light reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive irregularities or technicalities in any proposal, and accept any proposal in whole or in part, in its best interest. There are no restrictions on the methods or factors to be used for evaluation. Question Deadline 04/09/2026 at 11:59 PM ET Work to be performed under this contract consists of the construction of buried hot water (HW) for the Lansing Board of Water & Light (BWL) to replace existing steam system. The HW network ranges in size from 10" inside diameter to 2" inside diameter piping in both system mains, service laterals, and appurtenances. B. The Work will include removal and replacement of surface features disturbed during the course of the Work, erosion control according to the Soils Erosion and Sedimentation Control plan, traffic control according to the requirements of Michigan Department of Transportation, and City of Lansing Right-of-Way (ROW) permits, and pedestrian wayfinding and access through the downtown.
