Martin County Hospital District will receive competitive sealed proposals from General Contractors for a 7,012 square foot addition to the existing Emergency Department and a new 3,018 square foot Physical Therapy Addition. This work includes interior renovations to the existing Emergency Department and an exterior garden area for the Physical Therapy Addition. Construction will take place in two phases, with new construction in Phase One. Proposals must be submitted prior to the specified date and time. Proposal security in the amount of 5% of the greatest amount proposed, in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or Surety Proposal Bond, must accompany each proposal. Within ten days after the contract is awarded, the successful proposer must furnish Payment and Performance Bonds to the Owner for 100% of the contract price if the contract is $25,000.00 or more. All proposers must comply with applicable State Labor Laws concerning wage rates. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject all proposals. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
