The Shenandoah County Public Schools is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors to establish a contract for the construction of an access road at the Southern Campus, located between Ashby-Lee Elementary School and North Fork Middle School. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference at the site. Plan Holders List not maintained. The successful firm, under the direcon of Shenandoah County Public Schools Maintenance Department, shall perform all infrastructure installaon as outlined in the "Southern Campus Access Road" plans prepared by Valley Engineering. This includes, but is not limited to, erosion and sediment control measures, road access installaon, storm culverts, and site stabilizaon. The successful contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to construct the project in accordance with the plans and applicable standards. Valley Engineering "Southern Campus Access Road" plans are shown in Aachment C . These plans are substanally complete and currently under review with relevant enes. Prospecve bidders should be aware that plans may be adjusted as final reviews occur and that final stamped plans will be provided to the awarded contractor prior to work commencing. Work will take place on a contractor proposed meline that will begin no earlier than May 24, 2026 and be completed no later than August 9, 2026.
