Sealed bids are requested for furnishing all labor, material, and performing all work for the Bond Street Storm Sewer in the Village of Glenwillow, Ohio. The bid documents, specifications, and drawings are available for examination by prospective bidders at the office of the Finance Director or online. To become a Registered Bidder, documents must be purchased, which includes bid registration, one hard copy set, and one set of PDF files. No bid will be entertained unless made on forms furnished by the Village Engineer or an exact copy. Each bid must contain the name of every person interested in it and be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified or Cashier's Check, payable to the Village in an amount equal to 10% of the bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract if awarded. The checks from unsuccessful bidders will be returned after the contract is awarded, or within ten days of the scheduled closing for receipt of bids, except the second lowest and best bidder's may be retained until a contract is entered. All bids must be in a sealed envelope addressed to the Finance Director and bear the endorsement "Proposal for the Bond Street Storm Sewer." No bid may be withdrawn for at least ten days after the scheduled closing time. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to consider all elements when determining the qualifications and responsibility of any bidder. The contract will be awarded, if at all, to the lowest and best bidder who complies with all requirements prescribed in Chapter 107 of the Glenwillow Codified Ordinances.
