Site work for a residential development in Akron, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development.

Sealed bid proposals are requested for site work and related work at 499 Gibbs Road, Akron, Ohio 44312, for the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority. Bids must include a bid guarantee, which can be a bond from an approved surety company for the full amount of the bid plus alternates, or a certified check, cashier's check, bank draft, or irrevocable letter of credit for 10% of the bid plus alternates. The successful bidder must provide assurance of completion through one of the following: a performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract, a 20% cash deposit, or a 25% irrevocable letter of credit. The project is subject to the Build America Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements. All iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in the project must be produced in the United States unless a waiver is approved. Bidders are required to follow affirmative action and equal employment opportunity requirements, as stipulated in the Governor's Order and federal regulations. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the bid opening without the consent of the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority, who reserve the right to reject any or all bids, re-advertise, or waive informality as in their best interest. Compliance with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 is required, including providing training and employment opportunities for Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns. Payment for labor must not be less than the amount established by the U.S. Department of Labor.
