Part 1 - City Funded Work consists of pavement rehabilitation on Day Street from Regent Avenue West to Kildare Avenue West, asphalt reconstruction at multiple locations including Yale Avenue West, Plessis Road, Highfield Street, St Mary's Road, and Archibald Street, thin bituminous overlay on Barry Avenue and Sunglow Road, alley rehabilitations at Day Street and Sanford Fleming Road, Winnipeg Transit funded work at various intersections, and Water and Waste funded work. Part 2 - Manitoba Hydro Funded Work involves street lighting and associated works on Yale Avenue and Day Street. Major components include planing of asphalt, installation and repairs to catch basins, removal of trees and stumps, manhole repairs, adjustment of pavement appurtenances, construction and repairs of curbs, sidewalks, interlocking paving stones, boulevard grading, speed tables, asphalt overlays, crack filling, concrete repairs, subdrains, watermain insulation, placing of base course materials, and installation of topsoil and sod. Work also includes cleaning catch basins, reflective crack maintenance, and construction of reinforced transit shelter foundations. Work is contingent on funding approvals for Part 2.
