Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work consists of two parts: Part 1 - City Funded Work and Part 2 - Manitoba Hydro Funded Work. Part 1 includes asphalt reconstruction, pavement rehabilitation, alley rehabilitation, sidewalk renewal, Winnipeg Transit funded work (transit stop upgrades and Selkirk AT Path), and water and waste funded work at several specified streets and alleys. Asphalt reconstruction includes removing existing pavement, excavation, subdrain installation, compaction, street lighting installation, watermain insulation, installation of catch basins and connecting pipe, geotextile fabric placement, sub-base and base course placement, curb and gutter construction, adjustment of drainage and manholes, sidewalk renewal and new construction, reinforced concrete approaches, detectable warning tiles, plain dowelled concrete pavements, asphalt placement, speed hump construction, repair fabric installation, crack maintenance, cleaning catch basins, and boulevard grading and sodding. Pavement rehabilitation involves concrete planing, catch basin and lead repairs, manhole and sewer repairs, adjustment of appurtenances, full depth concrete repairs, curb and slab construction, sidewalk construction, boulevard grading, asphalt overlay, joint and crack filling, and sod. Alley rehabilitation includes appurtenance adjustment, concrete repairs, curb and slab construction, and boulevard grading and sodding. Sidewalk renewal covers removal, excavation, new sidewalk construction, reinforced sidewalk as needed, warning tiles, curb stop adjustments, and boulevard grading. Transit stop upgrades include curbs, ramps, sidewalk, shelter foundations, patching, and boulevard work. Selkirk AT Path includes pavement removal, excavation, compaction, fabric and geogrid placement, base course work, drainage adjustment, sidewalk renewal, paving stones, warning tiles, curbs, slab construction, asphalt work, crack maintenance, boulevard grading and sodding. Water and waste work involves water service insulation. Part 2, contingent on Manitoba Hydro funding, covers street lighting and associated works at specified locations. If this funding is not approved, all or a portion of Part 2 may be eliminated and the contract price will be adjusted accordingly, with timelines also reduced as appropriate.
