In general, the Project involves General Construction, and Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical work for Parks 3-26 JBS Urban Barn Development, Green Bay, Wisconsin. A. Alternate No. 1a: Metal Roofing - Base Bid. Provide all costs associated with the construction of standing seam metal roofing in lieu of asphalt shingle roofing for the Base Bid Scope. See drawings and specifications for more information. B. Alternate No. 1b: Metal Roofing - Additional if Alternate No. 2 is Accepted. Provide all costs associated with the construction of standing seam metal roofing over the patio in lieu of asphalt shingle roofing if Alternate No. 2 is accepted. See drawings and specifications for more information. C. Alternate No. 2: Roof Over Patio. Provide all costs associated with the construction of the roof and associated structure over the concrete patio. D. Alternate No. 3: Clerestory Windows. Provide all costs associated with adding (8) clerestory windows to the north and south sides of the building. See drawings and specifications for more information. E. Alternate No. 4: Building Ventilation. Provide all costs associated with providing additional building ventilation as described in the HVAC Design Documents. See drawings and specifications for more information. Bids will be received for one contract which includes all Work necessary and or required to complete the project per the Contract Documents. All bidders shall provide proof of responsibility on the form furnished by the Director of Public Works and it shall be filed with the Director of Public Works not less than five (5) days prior to the time set for opening of bids. All proposals must be submitted on the Bidder's Proposal provided for that purpose and issued to the specific bidder by the Director of Public Works together with a certified check or a bid bond equal to at least five (5) but not more than ten (10) percent of the bid payable to the City of Green Bay as a guarantee that if his or her bid is accepted, he or she will execute and file the contract and a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid within ten (10) days after the award of the contract. Only the Proposal Pages, Bid Bond, Affidavit of Compliance, Disclosure of Ownership and any Addenda issued shall be submitted. Only Proposals submitted by firms appearing on the City of Green Bay list of plan holders will be opened. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute such contract and performance bond, the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. All work required in this contract shall be completed by Friday December 4, 2026. Final payment must be made prior to January 1, 2027. Question Deadline 04/17/2026 All questions about the meanings or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the Engineer in writing . In order to guarantee a response, questions shall be submitted no later than four (4) calendar days prior to the bid opening date.
