This solicitation establishes a purchase agreement for the provision of parts and labor to furnish and install a Dedicated Outside Air System (DOAS) and associated ductwork for the second-floor kiln room at the Arts 302 Center. The awarded contractor shall provide all necessary materials, equipment, and labor required to complete the installation in accordance with the specifications outlined in this solicitation. All work must meet the required specifications, applicable codes, and completion requirements identified in this solicitation. Services will be authorized through issuance of a purchase order, and payment will be rendered Net 30 after satisfactory completion and acceptance of the work in accordance with standard purchasing procedures. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, permits, and coordination necessary to deliver a complete and functioning installation. The contractor shall verify field conditions and coordinate all aspects of installation. Any components or work required to provide a fully operational system whether specifically mentioned or reasonably implied shall be included. The City of Broken Arrow is requesting proposals from qualified mechanical contractors to furnish and install a Dedicated Outside Air System (DOAS) and associated ductwork for the second-floor kiln room at the Arts 302 Center. The purpose of this project is to improve ventilation and temperature control within the kiln room. During kiln operation, the room experiences significant heat gain and may produce fumes associated with ceramic firing processes. The proposed DOAS system shall remove excess heat and provide conditioned outside air to the space. The kiln room shall remain under negative pressure relative to adjacent spaces to prevent heat, odors, and potential kiln-related fumes from migrating into other areas of the building.
