Site work and new construction of a recreation facility in Covington, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a recreation facility.
The successful contractor will be required to enter into a contract with the owner and to furnish all the materials, perform all of the work, supervise, coordinate, administrate, and be responsible for the work of the entire project for the construction of the St. Tammany Paris Recreation District #6 New Gymnasium Building at 83462 LA Highway 1129, Covington, LA 70435. Bidders must meet the requirements of the State of Louisiana Contractor's Licensing Law for the major classification of building construction. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid and any alternatives and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. A performance and payment bond for the work, equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract, will be required upon execution of the contract and must be written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana and on the U.S. Department of the Treasury Financial Management Service List, and countersigned by a licensed insurance agent residing in Louisiana. The St. Tammany Parish Recreation District #6 reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Bids shall only be accepted from contractors licensed under Louisiana Contractors Licensing Law for building construction.
