Sealed bids are invited for the construction of a parking lot at Lewis and Clark Elementary School. All bids must be on a lump sum basis; segregated bids will not be accepted. Project work can begin during the school year but must be coordinated with the District, and must be started and completed prior to a specified date. Bids shall be submitted on the form provided with the Project Manual. All bidding information and documents are available for examination at designated Builders Exchanges and may be printed upon request. Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid must accompany each bid. The contractor is required to comply with all fair labor practices and the requirements of Montana Prevailing Wage rates and Montana Gross Receipts Tax. A bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the bid and a performance bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the bid are required. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least thirty (30) days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids except as noted in the instructions. The project will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. Project construction to be started and completed prior to August 10, 2026 Project work can begin during the school year but must be coordinated with the District. Project Manual may be printed upon request and upon payment at current printing rates of the establishment and will be available starting March 16, 2026.
