The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to perform cleaning of interior and exterior glass surfaces in various City buildings. Work includes cleaning all surfaces using appropriate window-cleaning equipment to obtain a uniformly bright surface free of drips, streaks, and foreign material. Interior and exterior window surfaces, metal and aluminum frames, and tile walls must be cleaned, and all moisture must be removed from glass and other surfaces. Gum, paint, or adhered soils not water-soluble must be removed with an appropriate cleaning agent. Green cleaning chemicals and procedures must be used, and a list of chemicals must be submitted for approval prior to contract commencement. The work must be completed according to industry standards, with all safety precautions observed, and the Contractor is responsible for damage caused by their equipment or staff. The Contractor’s employees must wear uniforms displaying the company name and employee’s name. All safety laws must be met, and equipment must be properly maintained. Cleaning must include capture and disposal of all potential contaminants in an environmentally safe process. The Contractor must provide required insurance coverage and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations for execution and completion of the work. Submittals must include completed forms provided in the Vendor Questionnaire Section, proof of insurance, references, certifications, and other required documents, uploaded as part of the electronic submittal through the City’s e-procurement portal. Only firms regularly engaged in the business and with sufficient resources will be considered. Prohibited communication periods are established, and all contact regarding the solicitation must be directed as instructed.
