Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Gurnee, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Separate sealed bids are sought for tennis court surface repair and color coating at Betty Russell Community Park, 5300 Pinewood Rd., Gurnee, IL 60031. Work includes but is not limited to asphalt restoration, asphalt grinding, crack repair, application of color coating system, site restoration, and all necessary appurtenances to complete the project. Bids must be submitted with a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check equal to 10% of the bid price. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the awarded contract price within ten days of notification of the contract award. All bidders must list the name of the surety company furnishing the bonds on their Bid Proposal. The contractor must also comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and provide copies of policies regarding sexual harassment, substance abuse prevention, job site safety, and employment discrimination within ten days of Notice of Award. Each bid must be placed in a sealed envelope and identified accordingly. The Gurnee Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and bidders, waive technicalities, and award all or any portion of these bids.
