The City of Cocoa Beach is issuing a Request for Proposal for residential and commercial solid waste services. Sealed proposals must be submitted with one unbound original, five copies, and a flash drive containing a PDF of the proposal as submitted. Proposals must be received at the City Clerk's office by 2 PM, Friday, May 1st, 2026. The successful proposer must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, permits, and licensing requirements. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held, and only firms represented at this meeting may submit proposals. The successful proposer will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond. The City reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject or accept any or all proposals, and negotiate further with the selected proposer, as permitted by law.
