The work consists of providing all labor, materials, and equipment required for the procurement and installation of two replacement high-volume water pumps. The new pumps will replace the existing chilled hot water pumps in Building 21A and must be suitable as drop-in replacements, requiring no rework to existing piping or foundations. The pumps shall meet current industry standard electrical efficiency requirements and be installed, tested, and fully operational within 90 days of contract award, with installation performed in a manner that prevents disruption to heating and cooling services. Work includes cleaning and preparing the installation area, providing and installing new concrete anchors, furnishing and installing new piping to accommodate dimensional changes to chilled water, condenser piping, and electrical connections in accordance with best practices, and performing laser alignment of the pumps after securing base frames to existing pads. The contractor shall provide all pressure differential piping, install new piping insulation to match existing conditions, and conduct equipment testing and startup using a qualified technician, with all required reports and documentation provided to the Government. The contractor shall also provide a one-year labor warranty on installation from the time of completion. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
