Separate sealed proposals are requested for the Lansingburgh Central School District Outdoor Classroom Canopy project, under Prime Contract 101: General Construction. Bidders must submit a valid NYS Department of Labor Public Work Contractor and Subcontractor Registry Certificate with their bid. Applications for registration are not accepted as substitutes. Bids not accompanied by required bid security, a valid NYS Department of Labor Certificate of Registration, or other required data, or those that are incomplete or irregular, are subject to rejection. Bids must be prepared in duplicate, enclosed in a properly labeled envelope, and each contract bid must be submitted in a separate envelope if bidding on more than one contract. A Bid Bond or Certified Check for five percent (5%) of the bid is required, guaranteeing contract execution and furnishing of satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond within ten days of award. Bidders are required to comply with employment and minimum wage requirements. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities and reject any or all bids or accept the one in the best interest of the school district.
