The work consists of furnishing, delivering, and supporting the replacement of uninterruptible power supply battery backups for medical refrigerators at multiple community-based outpatient clinic locations. The contractor shall furnish and deliver 186 new batteries to the VA warehouse and shall verify the required battery type and specifications and submit those specifications to the Contracting Officer's Representative for approval prior to delivery. VA shop staff will perform the battery replacements and collect and store the removed batteries at designated clinic locations. The contractor shall coordinate with the COR or designated personnel to pick up all replaced batteries and properly dispose of them in accordance with applicable regulations. Required batteries shall meet the specified MEDI+ PRODUCTS Assure UPS Line-XP MPL-100-12 performance characteristics, including nominal capacity, voltage, float voltage, torque requirements, and weight. All work shall be completed within 180 days from the start date as agreed with the Contracting Officer. Deliverables include approved battery specification submittals, delivery of new batteries, and pickup and proper disposal of all replaced batteries. The contractor shall comply with all applicable Federal records management laws and regulations, including safeguarding, handling, and disposition of Federal records created or handled in performance of the work, and shall flow these requirements down to all subcontractors. Battery pickup locations include 1170 Shawnee Street, Savannah, GA 31419; 180 Wingo Way, Suite 102, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464; Crowfield Eye and Sleep Lab, 7 Alliance Drive, Goose Creek, SC 29445; and 500 East Oglethorpe Highway, Hinesville, GA 31313.
