Sealed proposals are invited for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the Bloom Township Resurfacing Project in Bloom Township, Wood County, Ohio. The project consists of overlaying the existing asphalt on Bloomdale Road from Eagleville Road to Yates Road. All waste materials generated from this project must be taken to the Wood County Landfill for disposal. A bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid must accompany each proposal. The successful bidder shall provide a contract performance and payment bond for the full amount of the bid. All bids must be sealed and plainly marked for the Bloom Township Resurfacing Project. Proposals must be properly signed by an authorized representative and must contain the full names of all parties submitting the proposal and all interested persons. Bidders must provide evidence of experience with projects of similar size and complexity. Contractors and subcontractors will, as practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Compliance with Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, relevant Executive Orders, and prevailing wage rates for Public Improvements in Wood County is required. The successful bidder must sign an affidavit of contractor or supplier non-delinquency of personal property taxes. The Bloom Township Trustees reserve the right to reject any or all bids without disclosure of a reason and to waive irregularities in bid forms that do not affect competitive bidding. No award will be made until investigations are completed as to the qualifications of the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded.
