Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Milan, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; and bridge / tunnel.
Sealed bids are invited for rehabilitation work on two county highways: 1. County Highway 50 over Meredosia Ditch, Section #23-00400-00-BR, involving removal and replacement of existing prestressed precast concrete deck beams, guardrail replacement, and approach roadway work. 2. County Highway 55 over Mill Creek, Section #23-00400-01-BR, involving removal and replacement of the existing three span (60'-2", 76'-5", 60'-2") prestressed precast concrete deck beam superstructure on existing spill thru abutments and concrete pier caps on encased piles at station 81+95. This project also includes guardrail and approach roadway work. Bidders must use the provided forms, submit bids in a sealed envelope marked with the bid item, and may obtain detailed specifications at the office of the County Engineer. The Public Works Committee reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities.
