All bids shall be made and presented only on the forms presented by the District. Bids shall be received in the Facilities Office at 222 Stanley Avenue, Arroyo Grande, California 93420 and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the time and place stated. Any bids received after the specified time or any extensions due to material changes shall be returned unopened. The Project is being let in accordance with the formal bid requirements of the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act. Contractors should consult the General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and General Requirements regarding milestones and liquidated damages. Pre-qualification requirements: Prequalification of bidders is mandatory for projects using funds received pursuant to the Leroy F. Greene School Facilities Act or any funds from any state bond fund that involves a projected expenditure of $1,000,000 or more. Prospective bidders are required to submit a completed set of prequalification documents on forms provided by the District.
