For third class citiesthe bid must be accompanied by a certifiedcheck or bid bond in theamount of 10% of thebid, made payable to themunicipality. For othermunicipal types it is thediscretion of the municipality. A performance bond orcertified check in theamount of 100% of thecontract shall be furnished by the successfulbidder within 20 daysafter the contract isawarded.
