The City of Cincinnati seeks qualified bidders for the Gilbert Avenue Complete Street Project PID 115756, BID REFERENCE NUMBER 263C909242. The contract includes right-sizing Gilbert Avenue from Court Street in the south to MLK in the North. The work includes full repaving and rehabilitation of existing pavement on Gilbert Avenue, replacing 8 traffic signals and updating 5 more signals, installing upgraded bus stops, installing bump outs at intersections to shorten crosswalk lengths, drainage improvements, and adding protected bike lanes. Bidders must submit bids electronically through the City's Vendor Self Service website. Vendor registration is required. Bids must be accompanied by a bid surety of not less than 10% of the bid amount, and the successful bidder will be required to provide a performance surety of not less than 100% of the contract value. Bidders must submit the DBE Utilization Plan electronically at or before the time of bid, be ODOT pre-qualified for the specified type of work, and comply with all applicable federal requirements. All bidders will be subject to the provisions in the City of Cincinnati Municipal Code regarding the Equal Employment Opportunity Program contained in Chapter 325 (Ordinance 331-1999) of the Cincinnati Municipal Code.
