Vendors are required to supply and install high-definition cameras with remote monitoring and update the lighting infrastructure at St. Margaret's Park, Douglas Heights Family, Wyandotte Towers, and Wyandotte Towers Low Rise. Bidders must be experienced in security infrastructure installation. Surveillance Systems o Design and installation of non-automated surveillance systems (excluding facial recognition technology and License Plate Readers (LPRs). o Equipment must comply with HUD restrictions on prohibited manufacturers. o Integrating camera systems into a single unified platform for all KCKHA locations, allowing for multiple sign-in, viewing, and downloading video for safekeeping and evidence. 2. Lighting Enhancements o Installation of energy-efficient lighting to improve visibility and safety. o Lighting must meet local code and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) safety standards. 3. Site-Specific Cost Estimates and Timelines o Provide detailed cost breakdowns and estimated completion timelines for each property. The company awarded this RFP will collaborate with KCKHA's Executive Director, Public Safety, Facilities, and the Information Technology staff to deliver an informative and comprehensive review of security camera systems and services. Include a detailed description of each major type of work requested of the vendor. All information provided will be kept strictly confidential. The proposal should address each of the following: o Evidence that you understand the KCKHA's needs, including an awareness of working within significant budget constraints. o Evidence of the ability to deliver on time and within budget in an urban setting.
