**As of May 11, 2026, this project has been awarded.** The project is for the complete surface preparation and painting of all exterior surfaces for all buildings at Parkview Elementary School. This includes work on the 2-story building, portables, conex boxes, railings (steel and galvanized), poles, fences, block walls, marquee frame, minor repairs to existing artwork across the school, enclosures, doors, signage, structural elements, fascia replacement, stencil removal and replacement, curb painting, and new room ADA signage. Instructions to bidders require the submission of sealed bids at the specified location by the stated deadline and mandate the inclusion of bid security as described in the Instructions for Bidders. Bidders must possess a CSLB-issued C-33 contractor license. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is required for all prospective bidders. The contract will be awarded based on the combined total of the base bid and alternates. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond and a separate payment bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. Compliance with public works labor law, contractor and subcontractor DIR registration, and payment of prevailing wages is required. Retention in excess of five percent may be withheld due to project complexity, with substitution of securities permitted as specified.
