The work includes approximately 7,250 pick-ups of solid waste and recyclables from one, two, and three-family residences, as well as specific municipal facilities in the Town. The term of the contract is two years from the date of the signed agreement, with the possibility of annual renewal for up to three additional years unless terminated in writing by either party. Bidders may examine or obtain bidding documents from Avalon Document Services, 901 North State Street, Syracuse, New York, or the Town Offices at 5400 Butternut Drive, East Syracuse, NY. A non-refundable fee is required for document acquisition, with additional charges for shipping if applicable. Plan holders will receive email notifications for any addenda. Bidders are responsible for ensuring they have all addenda and must check the public planroom for updates. Questions about the project must be submitted in writing to the Engineer, with responses provided via addenda. No pre-bid conference or site visit will be held. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond of at least five percent of the bid amount. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. The owner is exempt from certain taxes, which are not to be included in the bid amount.
