Demolition and renovation of an industrial development in East Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 26,500-square-foot industrial development.
Onondaga County is renovating the existing 26,500 SF of auction storage space at the North Area Maintenance Facility (NAMF) for Sheriff's Evidence Storage. The scope of work includes demolition, construction, mechanical, electrical, telecommunication, plumbing, sprinkler, and general cleaning. The General Contractor must coordinate work with Owner's Trades, Other Prime Contractors, and other contractors hired by the Owner. All contractors and subcontractors submitting bids or performing construction work are required to register with the New York State Department of Labor under Labor Law Section 220-i and submit a Certificate of Registration with their bid. This project is subject to NYS prevailing wage. Contractors must also provide an MWBE Utilization plan, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Policy Statement, Workforce Employment Utilization Report, Apprenticeship Program, and meet Minority and Women Business Enterprise Utilization Goals: MBE Utilization Goal of 18% and WBE Utilization Goal of 12%. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security Deposit amounting to five percent (5%) of the bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive any bid informalities or reject any or all bids.
