The proposed work for the project entitled "Westview Force Main - Phase 2 Project No. 31215" will include the furnishing of all material, labor, and equipment for construction of approximately 8,150 feet of new wastewater force main including sitework, piping, air release valves and structures, construction of storm sewer replacements, and construction of approximately 1,160 feet of 12-inch sanitary sewer, including manhole and pipe connections. The contract will require compliance with the wage and labor requirements and the payment of minimum wages in accordance with the Schedule of Wage Rates established by the Missouri Division of Labor Standards. In addition, the contract will require compliance with the wage and labor requirements in accordance with the federal Davis-Bacon Act wage rates. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities therein, to determine which is the lowest and best bid and to approve the bond.
