As of May 18, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded tonight. Bid Proposals are solicited for the Parking Lot 5A Resurfacing Project at Saddleback College. Bids must be submitted electronically under the guidelines and procedures of the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA). A mandatory pre-bid conference and job walk is required. Bidders must ensure all representatives attend the entire session. All individuals in attendance must comply with District policies and may be removed for inappropriate behavior. Requests for substitutions to specified products must be made in writing by the specified deadline. Bid Proposals must include Bid Security in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the proposed price. Bidders and all subcontractors must be registered contractors with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). The awarded contractor and all subcontractors must pay prevailing wage rates as determined by the DIR. Bid Proposals must remain firm for sixty (60) days after opening. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or waive irregularities. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest priced responsive bid.
