Project Location: This project is located at various intersections along Delany Road (County route W27). These intersections include Sunset Avenue (County route A19), Continental Drive, Gent Drive, York House Road (County route A15), and Wadsworth Road (County route A9). This project is located in the Village of Wadsworth. This project consists of the removal of existing Video Vehicle Detection Systems from the traffic signals located at the various intersections listed above, including removal of all related electrical cable from existing conduits. The removed Vehicle Detection Systems will be replaced with new Video Detection Systems at each intersection. Any Traffic Control and Maintenance of Existing Traffic Signals required to complete this work is also included within the project. Proposals requiring prequalification of bidders will be issued only to those contractors who are qualified with the Department of Transportation. Prequalification forms may be secured from the Engineer of Construction, Administration Building, 2300 South Dirksen Parkway, Springfield, IL 62764.
