Scanlon 28th Street & Dewey Avenue Resurfacing & Utility Improvements The work for the 28th Street and Dewey Avenue project will generally consist of approximately 5 blocks of urban of which shall include the removal of the existing bituminous pavement, minor grading, concrete curb and gutter, CIPP sanitary sewer lining, water main extension pipe bursting, water service line replacement, curb stops, storm sewer and stormwater infiltration basin, and bituminous paving. Ancillary work includes driveway pavement, seeding restoration, erosion control, and traffic control items. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder’s maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, or an electronic Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. If after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
