Renovation of a mixed-use development in Columbus, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and recreation facility.
Provide all labor, equipment, and materials to complete the specified work at Gallops Senior Center and Pop Austin Recreation Center, in full compliance with the project manual. Vendors must bid on both roof projects in order to be considered for award. This RFB will be awarded in total to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Question Deadline 04/22/2026 QUESTIONS: Questions concerning specifications must be submitted, in writing, at least 5 (five) working days (Monday-Friday) prior to receipt date. Locations-1212 15TH STREET, COLUMBUS, GA 31901 1331 ALEXANDER STREET, COLUMBUS, GA 31904 pn-24CCGU23RR367 Base Bid: At the low-slope roof areas, the work consists of demolition of selected existing roofing materials, inspection and repair of exposed substrates and roof decks, removal of loose aggregate from the existing built-up roofing, application of tapered Lightweight Insulating Concrete (LWIC) and installation of a new 20-year warranty fully-adhered fleeceback TPO roof system. At the steep-slope roof areas, the work consists of demolition of the existing roof shingle, inspection and repair of exposed substrates and roof decks, and installation of a 40-year warranty laminated asphalt shingle system over synthetic underlayment. The Base Bid includes additional miscellaneous scope of work items including sealant and sheet metal installation and elastomeric coating application to masonry above roof areas. Base Bid: The work consists of removal and replacement of localized wet existing modified bitumen roof system materials, preparation of the existing modified bitumen roof surface, and installation of a new fully-adhered TPO fleeceback roof system fully-adhered to the prepared existing modified bitumen roof surface as specified.
