At the steep-slope roof areas, the work consists of demolition of the existing roof shingle, inspection and repair of exposed substrates and roof decks, and installation of a 40-year warranty laminated asphalt shingle system over synthetic underlayment. The Base Bid includes additional miscellaneous scope of work items including sealant and sheet metal installation and elastomeric coating application to masonry above roof areas. Base Bid: The work consists of removal and replacement of localized wet existing modified bitumen roof system materials, preparation of the existing modified bitumen roof surface, and installation of a new fully-adhered TPO fleeceback roof system fully-adhered to the prepared existing modified bitumen roof surface as specified.
