The Village of North Palm Beach is seeking bids from qualified firms for the demolition of an existing trail and the construction of new recreational amenities within the Village of North Palm Beach. The project includes construction of a kayak launch, an asphalt pathway, and fitness equipment improvements at Anchorage Park. Specific improvements are: milling and resurfacing existing asphalt pathways in select areas; constructing a new kayak launch with a concrete sidewalk connecting the launch site to parking; and procuring and installing outdoor fitness equipment on a concrete pad with synthetic turf grass padding and surfacing. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled on site at Anchorage Park, during which potential bidders will have the opportunity to ask questions and walk the site. Failure to attend this meeting may result in rejection of a bid proposal.
