The project consists of reconstructing the Northeast Hangar Taxilanes pavement at Nut Tree Airport, which provides access to the northern hangars (approximately 12,300 square yards), and includes drainage improvements. Work will include removal of the existing asphalt pavement and underlying base course, construction of a full depth pavement section (asphalt concrete, aggregate base, and lime treated subgrade), construction of portland cement concrete valley gutters, installation of storm drain piping and catch basins, and initial and final pavement markings. Bids must comply with all instructions, be submitted electronically via the specified portal, and include all required documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. The successful bidder must execute the agreement and provide payment and performance bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount, within the specified time from award notification. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with federal and state wage laws, be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations, and meet all federal and FAA requirements as detailed in the bid documents.
