Renovation of a parking garage in Fall River, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
The Project consists of but not limited to structural repairs and associated improvements to the Third Street Parking Garage. The work is estimated to cost $6,000,000.00. The work consists of repairs to inverted T-beams, concrete wall repairs, floor repairs, and electrical reconfiguration caused by repairs to structural elements at the existing 3 Street Parking Garage. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. All bidders must submit a certificate of eligibility issued by the Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAMM) for projects of similar size and nature and an updated statement summarizing their record. The DCAMM certificate must be for the category of work applicable to the bidder. A bid deposit is required as per the instructions to bidders. Performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder. The successful bidder must comply with a Minority and Women (MBE/WBE) workforce participation goal of 13.0% for the contract. Minimum wage rates as set by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development and Davis Bacon Federal Wage Rates apply. It is the responsibility of the contractor to request any additional information on minimum wage rates for relevant trades if necessary.
