Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Mexico Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The project involves repairs to Bridge #510026 located over Cypress Creek on C.R. 386 in Gulf County, FL. The scope of work includes joint repairs as well as erosion and undermining repairs. Completion of the project is required within 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $904.00 per day. Bidders must place their company name, sealed bid, and the bid number on the outside of the envelope and include the original bid plus two copies. All applicable State and local laws regarding licensing, registration, and regulation of contractors must be complied with. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. All bids shall remain firm for sixty days after opening. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid judged to be in the best interest of Gulf County. Question Deadline 04/16/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing, Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
