Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Mexico Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project includes the installation of a raw water transmission main on Highway 71 and Volunteer Ave. The work will consist of approximately 21,000 linear feet of 12-inch PVC pipe, 14-inch HDPE pipe for crossing under existing roadways, and various ductile iron fittings. The project starts at the newly constructed wellfield and connects to the existing White City Water Treatment Plant. Materials for the project will be provided by Gulf County. Bidders must submit the original bid plus two copies, with the company name, sealed bid, and bid number clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. Bids may also be submitted electronically via the County’s online bidding platform. All bids must remain firm for sixty days after opening, and bidders must adhere to all applicable State and local laws regarding contractor licensing, registration, and regulation. The bid must also conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities, accept or reject any or all bids, and accept the bid judged to be in the best interest of Gulf County.
