You are invited to submit a sealed or electronically submitted bid for "Oxford Early Childhood Center Re-Roof." Single stipulated sum bids will be received for all work required by the Contract Documents. Instructions to Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Form of Contract Bond, Drawings, Specifications, and other Contract Documents can be examined at the designated locations. Bid documents are available via hard copy or CD, and all plan holders must register with a valid email address. All proposals must be on file with the Oxford School District before the stated opening time, sealed and clearly marked "Oxford Early Childhood Center Re-Roof." Electronic bidding is allowed but not required. Each bidder must include required security with their bid, and Performance and Payment Bonds will be required from the successful bidder. Bidders must comply with Mississippi law regarding Certificate of Responsibility. Resident contractors are given preference according to Mississippi laws. Non-resident contractors must attach a copy of their state's relevant law. The successful bidder must comply with the Owner's non-discrimination policy. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids.
