Eagle Mountain City is requesting proposals from responsible firms or individuals for a Culinary Water Transmission Main - 30% Design and Preliminary Engineering. Growth projections, system modeling, and master planning have identified the need for construction of a new pump station and large-diameter culinary water transmission main to serve existing and future development areas and to enhance system redundancy and fire flow capacity. A concept-level evaluation has been completed as part of the Water Master Plan. The project is to be advanced to a 30% design level. Instructions for bidders: - A mandatory meeting is being conducted at 2565 N Pony Express Pkwy Eagle Mountain, Utah 84005. - The following documents will be required with bidding documents and/or at contract award: Insurance verification with bid, Certificate of Insurance at contract signing. - Any bid received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will not be considered. - Bids will be opened on or around the bid closing. Results will be posted after bid evaluation. Vendors submitting a bid will be notified of the results by email, which will include a spreadsheet of all vendors and the amounts of the bids submitted. Include the name and email address of a contact person in the cover letter for notification purposes. Bids will also be posted online. Once a vendor is chosen for the awarded contract, all vendors will be notified of the awarded vendor. The chosen vendor will submit the remaining required insurance, bonds, and other documentation with a signed contract. All other communications regarding this RFP, both spoken and written, which are received by any representative of the Firm from other sources (such as any elected or appointed official of the city or any other city staff, unless said communication is required by the primary contact) shall result in the disqualification of the proposal.
