Question Deadline 04/09/2026 No oral responses to any questions concerning the content of the Contract Documents shall be given, and all questions relating to interpretation of the Contract Documents or proposed products must be submitted in writing at least 5 calendar days prior to the scheduled Bid opening date. The work comprises mill/overlay at transition areas, Full Depth Reclamation, pavement overlay, pavement markings, and paved shoulders of Cromley Road at the intersection of Cromley Road and Blee Hill Road, approximately 1,100 feet in length. Quantities of work include 2,445 square yards of Full Depth Reclamation (20 feet wide by 1,100 linear feet in length by 8 inches in depth), 6 inches of 19 MM Base Course at the center and 4 inches at each edge of roadway, 1 inch of 9.5 MM Wearing Course and Emulsified Asphalt; 245 square yards of paved shoulders (1 foot wide by 3 inches deep); 140 square yards of milling to tie in transitions and pavement notches, 4 inches of 19 MM Base Course and 1 inch of 9.5 MM Wearing Course, and furnishing and placing all traffic lines and markings, including the double yellow centerline and fog lines at each edge of the cartway. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes marked "Sealed Bid for the Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) Project - Cromley Road." Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to Derry Township. All bids must remain irrevocable for 60 calendar days from the date of the bid opening. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by Derry Township. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates apply. Contract documents are available for inspection or purchase at the locations and under the terms outlined. Derry Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities, technical defects, or irregularities in a bid.
