The Town of Mahone Bay is seeking one or more contractors to provide and perform janitorial services for various premises, starting May 11th, 2026, for a two-year contract ending May 15th, 2028, with the possibility of renewal for up to one year at the Town's discretion. The contractor is responsible for maintaining the premises in a satisfactory condition according to the Town's standards and in compliance with provincial sanitation and environmental codes, including recycling and composting mandates. The contractor must adhere to high standards of cleanliness and sanitary practices to ensure continual sanitation in all janitorial operations. The contractor is also responsible for supplying all products, equipment, and cleaning materials required for the work. There are mandatory pre-bid site visits for prospective bidders.
